When we see Brexit constantly in the news and funky names like Angela Merkel bandied around, it’s easy to miss some other big European news. In this case, it’s Blueprint’s announcement that it’s adding Merkur slot titles to its catalogue (see what I did there?).

The Great Slot Expansion

Blueprint, the leading UK-based gaming studio based in Newark, is over the moon to announce the impressive expansion of its game offering by adding Merkur Gaming’s titles and Reel Time Gaming (RTG) content to its portfolio. Merkur Gaming is the international sales and development brand of ADP Gauselmann, responsible for some of Europe’s most popular online slots. Now, Blueprint’s games catalogue is even shiner, and includes Blazing Star, Eye of Horus, Fishin’ Frenzy and Double Triple Chance.

It’s not just the great games that Blueprint has acquired. It’s a solid reputation, too. Merkur is responsible for some of the most popular games across UK betting shops. This will allow Blueprint to diversify its offering, target a new demographic and draw on Merkur and Reel Time Gaming’s success in the East European land-based markets as well as Germany, Netherlands and Spain. (Wow. Is this like reading the FT?)

New Content, New Opportunities

Matt Cole, Managing Director of Blueprint, said of the expansion: “The game style will complement our existing portfolio of feature right slots and further strengthens our performance across a broad range of markets.” It might sound like business jargon, but it does spell out that Blueprint has laid the foundations for its expansion. The company’s targeting of online and offline means we can expect to see more Blue(print) everywhere we look. And that, at least, is certainly something we can look forward to.
