Proud Mary keep on burning…rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the European Roulette wheel.

Creedence Clearwater Revival may not have been singing about Microgaming’s European Roulette Gold Series, but they should have been. I don’t know who Proud Mary is, and frankly I don’t care, but whoever she was I’m pretty sure that if she wasn’t interested in Roulette before she’d played this casino game she jolly well would have been afterwards.

For one thing it’s the Gold Series. Put “Gold Series” in front of anything and it makes it sound like a superior product. BMW Gold Series. See what I mean? But this isn’t just marketing hype from Microgaming. This is hype with substance. Which is not the same thing as substantial hype.

After our Spin The Slots weekend (throughout which we are not obliged to play slots, as such, but when in a full-blown, bonus-giving Rome…) maybe it is time to refocus on some high class casino outings. And with our September To Remember promotion running like an Autumnal freight train (fuelled by feathers and plumped with cushions) there can be no more worthy casino game than European Roulette Gold Series.

The coquettish angle, the well-trodden felt, the soothing tones of the British croupier.

It has all the hallmarks of a classic. And it is a classic. That’s why it’s called the Gold Series.

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the European Roulette wheel.
