How to Play

Once you load up the slot you can watch the cutscene (or skip it if you want to get straight into playing). You’ll then be taken to the main screen, set against a Mexican town backdrop. The reels sit in the middle of the screen and all the buttons are at the bottom. You can adjust your coin value on the right of the screen and change the betting levels on the left, simply use the plus and minus buttons for each. The spin button is bang in the middle and is neatly depicted as a six-shooter gun chamber. Simply hit spin and off you go!

Symbols

The low-paying symbols are made up of the familiar card values – Jack, Queen, King and Ace. Piles of Cash, Grenades, Handguns and Machine Guns wrap around them. Flamingos, Planes and the characters Jose Rodriguez Gacha, Connie Murphy and agents Steve Murphy and Javier Pena make up the high paying symbols. It doesn’t always follow in slot games that it pays to be good, so watch out for the two DEA agent symbols as they can give you 15 times your stake for five on a payline. The DEA Badge is the slot’s Wild and substitutes for all symbols to help form winning combinations. The Locked Up symbol has Pablo Escobar’s face on and the Free Spins Car symbol triggers bonus rounds.

Bonuses

As well as a base game bonus which can be triggered at random, Narcos has a range of exciting bonus features.

Bonus Name Bonus Explanation
Drive-by

Can be triggered at random. You’ll see a thug appear on the reels and blast a series of bullets, changing low symbols into high-paying ones or Wilds.

Locked Up

Activates when three or more Locked Up symbols appear on the same row. The three symbols then move together and are given a value of between one and ten times your stake. You get three Free Spins and only Locked Up and Golden Locked Up symbols appear. The Golden Locked Up symbol is worth between 11 and 20 times your stake. When it does appear and is connected to a winning cluster, you get one of the following:

  • Multiplier – everything in the cluster is multiplied be either x2 or x3.
  • Upgraded Symbols – the symbols’ values increase by one, with the chance for it to go up to x7 or x15 your stake.
  • Big Starting Value – the Golden Locked Up symbol benefits from an additional value at the start.
Free Spins

When you get three or more of the Car Free Spins symbols on the first, third and fifth reels, you’ll get 10 Free Spins. On each spin, a high value symbol can randomly transform into a Wild. Walking Wilds can also come into play, where you get a new spin if you have a Walking Wild on the reels.
