Reel Rush Slot
Last Updated
There must have been something in the water at NetEnt as its Reel Rush slot bids for the title of the slot most inspired by Super Mario. If you thought that NetEnt’s Strolling Staxx was that slot, think again. The backgrounds of this cartoon type slot are missing Yoshi eggs. But the fun graphics, generous RTP and 480,000 coin jackpot make up for lack of Nintendo dinosaur eggs.
- Amazing graphics.
- High RTP.
- Quick and easy to understand and play.
- Not many bonuses.
- 3,125 Ways to Win only on Free Spins.
- SEGA fans might have an instant bias against it.
How to Play
NetEnt is known for its easy-to-play slots and the same applies here. Before you progress to the reelcase, you’ll see a brief explanation of the game. Then it’s off to the five reel, 3,125 Ways to Win slot (similar to When Pigs Fly, another NetEnt hit). At the bottom of the screen, underneath the grass level you’ll see all the buttons. Thankfully you don’t have to dig up any dirt to get these like on Super Mario Bros 2 (if you can remember that far back – otherwise, try out an emulator).
The spin button sits firmly in the middle, with autoplay and max bet on either side. You can adjust your level and coin value by selecting the corresponding arrows, then you just have to sit back, relax and hit spin. Each time you land a winning combination, some of the R covered symbols disappear, creating more opportunities for you to win.
Symbols
The low value symbols are made up of gum drop looking shapes in various colours. Red, Green, Orange, Purple and Yellow all look alluring. But nowhere near as satisfying as the high value symbols – Plums, Berries, Watermelons, Lemons, Pineapples and Strawberries, all appearing in a cute cubic form. The R symbols appear across the reels, giving you a unique payline structure but as you land more wins, they disappear, creating more space and more chances to win. The Wild symbol is blazoned with Wild across it and appears on the second, third, fourth and fifth reels to create further wins. You just need to match three or more symbols in adjacent reels, from left to right, to make a winning combo.
Bonuses
There’s only one bonus to speak of on the Reel Rush slot, but when used in conjunction with the Respins and the Wild, it can be very lucrative, with a prize of 480,000 coins up for grabs.
