A Dragon’s Story Slot
Last Updated
Behold! A Dragon’s Story is an Online slots quest only for the brave. For this dragon is feared across the land. Actually, this is his story so we are on his side and must protect his treasure from the wily knights that come to try to pinch it. Our reward? Perchance some fair treasure of our own, plus a good chance of a nice rotisserie dinner.
Gameplay
Greeted by a fanfare of epic proportions we can tell right from the off that this slot is going to be epic. And the medieval lute and lyre-style music continues throughout to help create a great in-game atmosphere. Ruff, our dragon hero, grins beside the reel case as we hunt down the game’s 25 fixed pay lines. No wonder he’s grinning – check out the piles of gold he’s sitting on! A grumpy Little Dragon sits wheezing at the bottom of the screen. Occasionally bursting a jet of flame onto the reels to turn a symbol into a Dragon Wild, substituting for all other symbols.
Our symbols feature some of the key components of A Dragon’s Story – big piles of Gold. A running Knight, a broken Shield and burning armoured Boot. Medieval-styled 10s through Aces make up the lower-paying symbols. All of which can be boosted through the dragon’s lair roof with NextGen’s Superbet Feature™.
We have three choices: Superbet Off gives us one Little Dragon at the bottom of the reel case. Superbet 1 brings out three Little Dragons. While Superbet 2 invites five Little Dragons to sit and light up our reels. The more grumpy Little Dragons we have at the bottom of the reel case the more chance we have of fiery Dragon Wilds across the reels and the higher the RTP of our own Dragon’s Story.
Bonuses
NextGen loves its bonus features, so it’s little surprise to see A Dragon’s Story boast two dedicated bonus games on top of the Superbet Feature™ that fires up our game-play and strategy potential in the base game. Landing three Scattered Jewels anywhere across the five reels launches the Free Games feature. Awarding 10 free games with doubled prizes and more flaming jets from the Little Dragons. A Dragon’s Story’s second bonus feature is the Brave Sir William Bonus, awarded at random after any paid spin. This brave and/or foolish knight enters Ruff’s Lair looking for his gold. Do we want him to get it? Do we heck! We want Ruff to burn Brave Sir William’s bottom with a fireball, at which point Ruff will share his gold with us instead.
Summary
With a well-devised theme and plenty of base-game and bonus feature action, A Dragon’s Story has the potential to be the only story we will want to read at bed time, breakfast time and lunch time. It’s flaming good fun.
