Witches Wealth Slot
Last Updated
How much wealth does a witch need? I thought they were simple creatures living in shabby woodland huts off stocks of newts, eyeballs, frogs and bats. Or is that the French? Anyhoo, Microgaming are pretty sure that witches lead a more glamorous lifestyle than maybe we’d believed. Quite what research they’ve done to come to these conclusions we won’t ask, but let’s face it – if we had magical powers we’d whip ourselves up some tasty slots winnings. Maybe this magic will rub off on us…
Gameplay
When the supernatural is at hand, we can’t always be sure about what’s what. If we spin these five reels are we going to be turned into frogs? Or, even worse, Princes? So let’s itemise the things we can be sure of. We can play across 9 paylines, betting from €/£/$0.01 – €/£/$1 per spin, with a total possible coin bet of 20 coins per spin. Now, what combination of these we should throw in to the Witches potion to get her to share her Wealth we’ve no idea, but we should try and find out.
The reels are decorated superbly, with incredibly drawn symbols that usher into us excitement and intrigue as well as the fear of bejeezers. There is a weird, purple grumpy parsnip thing that is especially creative and disturbing. Mr. Twinkles, our witch’s cat, has the usual smug look on his chops while the Owl looks like he’s got all the inside info. And our Witch? She is Wild, substituting for all other game symbols to work her magic and line our pockets with coins.
Bonuses
Being our Witch’s closest companion, Mr. Twinkles makes perfect sense as the game’s Scatter, or as I should say, the game’s first Scatter. Mr. Twinkles launches Witch’s Wealth’s first bonus feature when we land three or more of him across the five reels. Landing three or four Mr. Twinkles symbols on an active payline launches the Spinning Wand Bonus, which could yield up to 1,600 coins or trigger within it the Flying Rescue Bonus, which could bring in 16,200 coins when launched by landing five Mr. Twinkles symbols in Witch’s Wealth’s base game. Sound complicated? Well, we are trying to get our hands on a Witch’s Wealth so just be thankful you don’t have to eat a bag full of eyeballs, or something.
But as we said this game has two Scatters. The second is the Bat Scatter, which doesn’t launch any other bonus feature but does pay out when landing three or more anywhere across the five reels. Told you she was fond of Bats, but so will we be if they bring in the bacon.
Summary
Nine paylines doesn’t seem too generous, but with a multi-level bonus game and two Scatter symbols there is magic to be spun in this entertaining title. There aren’t even any portents of early death or forests marching on us in our sleep, which may mean that these witches are slacking but at least it means we’ll wake up in the morning. And hopefully a good size richer.
