When Terminator 2: Judgement Day was released way back in 1991. It helped cement Schwartenegger as a genuine Hollywood superstar and joined an exclusive club of major blockbuster sequels with a solid claim to being better than the original movies they followed. It’s now been seven years since Microgaming released an online slots tribute to Terminator 2, and the Isle of Man based company are hoping to repeat the trick with Terminator 2 Remastered, a 5 reel, 243 payline slot with sumptuous graphics and an exciting array of bonus features.

How to Play
All of Terminator 2 Remastered’s controls are aligned along the right hand side of its five-reel play board, in a similar arrangement to the recently released Fire Forge. The bottom symbol allows you to bring up the stake selection menu. Where you can pick from six different stake options, the top symbol opens another submenu with sound options and game information, and the central button starts the game. Once the reels are spinning, you’ll need to match symbols from left to right to complete wins. There are 243 Ways during the base game, but when you land three scatter symbols to trigger the Free Spins bonus game, the game board expands with an extra row of symbols to become a 1024 Ways game.
As you’d expect from a slot based on a popular media franchise, Terminator 2 Remastered is brimming with pictures, sounds and videos from the classic 1991 movie. The game’s highest paying symbols are all provided by characters and stills from the film. The biggest payouts of all come from the game’s Scatter symbol – a picture of the Terminator arriving in a bubble of electromagnetic energy. That’s followed by the T2 logo against a fiery background, which is the game’s Wild symbol and substitutes for any other standard symbol. After that come the stars of the movie: Arnie in his iconic black shades, the young John Connor, future leader of the Resistance, the deadly, shape-changing T-1000, Sarah Connor, and, finally, the skeletal T-800. Rounding out the game’s symbol selection are four playing card suit symbols.
Terminator 2 Remastered has two main bonus features: the Free Spins mode, activated by landing three Scatters, and the T-800 Vision mode, which activates at random.
