No sooner had the dust settled on Play ‘N Go’s release of its Reactoonz slot than the follow up shot out of the development hangar! Reactoonz 2 is a hyper-playable casual game that has you on the edge of your seat as you aim to charge the Quantumeter with Electric Wilds.
To do that you need to match clusters of symbols, a pay system that Play ‘N Go used to excellent effect on the Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness slot. The symbols just happen to be the Reactoonz aliens, (mostly) happy little creatures with various eyes, horns and flesh colours. They pop and fizz, creating Electric Wilds and filling meters that trigger the game’s bonus features, and all to the tune of a weird and wonderful sci-fi soundtrack.
Pros & Cons
- Quick and easy gameplay.
- Instant win-style payouts.
- Superb max jackpot.
- Lots of Cluster Wins required to trigger the bonus features.
- No Free Spins feature.
- Only certain one eyed creatures cause Electric Wilds.
How to Play
Cluster Pays games are not brand new, but they are at least as playable as online slots, if not more so. Landing clusters of five or more Reactoonz awards payouts in this game, with higher payouts awarded the more symbols that are involved in the winning cluster. The mechanism works as well as when it was pioneered in instant games like Core Gaming’s Beehive Bedlam Reactors and SKillz Gaming’s Fruit Blast, and in Reactoonz the winning symbols disappear to allow further symbols to fall in their place and create further wins.
Select your bet level at the bottom of the screen and press the green spin button to launch the Reactoonz. Or you can select the autoplay features by opening the autoplay toggle when you press the yellow button. All game symbol payouts and bonus information can be found in the game’s pay table, which sits to the left hand side of your game screen.
Reactoonz (short, blob-like alien creatures) of various colours and appendages make up the game’s symbols. The miserable one eyed Yellow Reactoon is the game’s lowest-paying symbol, awarding x0.1 for landing five in a cluster and x3 for landing 30 in a winning cluster. When we play online casual games we look for the highest payouts, and the top-paying symbol in Reactoonz 2 is a three-horned pink Reactoon, which awards between x1 – x300 your bet for landing between 5-15 symbols in a cluster. You create Electric Wilds when you land a winning cluster that matches the one eyed Reactoon in the Fluctometer above the game board.
The symbols that create the Electric Wilds pop and fill up the Fluctometer with energy, and when the Fluctometer is full it sends 1-3 Electric Wilds onto the game board.
The Reactoonz 2 bonus features are triggered by the Fluctometer, which charges with Electric Wild wins.
