Joker Poker uses a 53 card deck – 52 cards plus the Wild Joker – making each hand a unique deal. Joker Poker’s real appeal comes not only in the top payout of x4,000 your stake for landing a Royal Flush but also in it’s Double or Collect bonus round.

How to Play

When you load Joker Poker the bet is automatically set to your last bet. If you haven’t played it before, be sure to check your bet amount before you start the game. You have to select your bet amount before you press the Deal button, and you can only change your bet amount once each game round has completed. As Joker Poker is an old school game, similar in that way to Microgaming’s classic Kings of Cash slot, you have to set the coin value as well as the coin size.

Increasing the number of coins increases the game’s potential payout, while altering the coin size multiplies your coins to give you your total stake. Once you have selected your bet, press the Deal button to receive five cards. You then have to select which cards you want to hold. You can hold all five, if you wish. You must find a winning poker hand based on the card hands in the pay table above the game area to bag the payout for that hand. The hands are traditional poker hands, and from the lowest ranking hand of Kings or Better (a single pair lower than Kings doesn’t award a payout) to Royal Flush, the odds – and payouts – increase.

Symbols

The game symbols in Joker Poker are made up of cards, as you might find in online poker games like Evolution Gaming’s Live Three Card Poker, for example. 2s through Aces of the four main suites – Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs and Spades – make up the game symbols, which we use to form winning poker hands. The only exception is the Joker of the game’s title, which acts as a Wild and can substitute for all other cards. Land a Royal Flush to bag the maximum game payout of 4,000 coins.

Bonuses

The main bonuses in Joker Poker revolve around your poker hand. However, Genii also includes a Double option, similar to the Gamble option you find in online slots.

Bonus Name Bonus Explanation
Double

On completion of a winning hand you have the option to Double or Collect. Select Double to visit a second game screen. A card displays in the first of five cards. You must then choose one of the other face-down cards as you bid to find a higher card. Land a higher card and you double your winnings.

At which point you have another chance to Double or Collect. You can Double or Collect a maximum five times in a row.
